Cost and pricing strategy - The basis of cost categorisation in running a business and assess a range of pricing strategies. 2. Sales forecast – The purpose of forecast sales in achieving business objectives. Factors to consider when preparing a sales forecast and preparing a forecast. 3. Personal survival budget - Provides an overview the minimum amount that the owner will need to take from the business to live on. Prepare a list of personal income minus list of personal expenditure. 4. Cash low forecast – Recognize the importance of and preparing a cash low forecast. 5. Break-even analysis. - Breakeven point, target proit and Cost volume proit analysis. ASEAN Inclusive Business Awards 2021 How to apply Eligibility criteria Application form What is Inclusive Business (IB)? IB provides goods, services, and livelihoods on a commercially viable basis, either at scale or scalable, to people at the Base of the economic Pyramid (BoP), making them part of the value chain of companies’ core business as suppliers, distributors, retailers, or customers. If a company’s customers are low-income individuals, or if it sources from people living at the base of the pyramid, or if low-income people distribute its products through their communities or sell them in local stores, that company is an inclusive business. About Inclusive Business Award: ASEAN Inclusive Business (IB) Awards highlights good practice examples of companies with business models designed to make profit while solving problems of the poor and low-income people. The ASEAN IB Awards could be of great benefit for the participating companies as it can increase their visibility, help develop international contacts, but also can serve as a way to benchmark their activities in relation to the peers. Eligible applicants will be evaluated on their capacities of: IB social impact reach: the business' positive reach and impact on persons of low-income or with a focus on gender; Depth of social impact: demonstrating that the business has been working with the most relevant stakeholder group for this business and that social impact does not happen on occasional basis but is structurally integrated in the business operations; Contribution to systemic change for the business model to be expanded and replicated in existing as well as new sectors and geographies; Innovation: indicating that the company has developed a unique product, service, business or delivery model working with/or serving the BoP Any interested companies may check the application guidelines for steps on how to apply and eligibility criteria and fill in application form . Applications are invited for the following position: Executive Officer, Business Relationship Management Business Advisory & Growth – 1 position Role holder is responsible to liaise and work effectively with businesses and entrepreneurs in Brunei and provide advisory and support towards helping businesses achieve desirable revenue growth. Roles and Responsibilities: Interact on a regular basis with local businesses and stakeholders in the business ecosystem to understand the current environment and scope facing businesses and work proactively and creatively for possible solutions. Ensure proper advisory procedures and documentation while adhering to the internal policies, business processes and regulatory requirements. Liaise, manage and coordinate effectively with key stakeholders which may include external agencies, MSME, mentors and facilitators to ensure objectives of programs are met. Maintain a portfolio of participants from various initiatives under DARe and to monitor and track their performance and milestones. Attending relevant stakeholder meetings and/or events to develop a deep knowledge of and keep abreast with national, regional and international trends of business support initiatives. Assist in the development and implementation of new and existing strategies related to MSME development. Initiate and organize project meetings amongst team members and external stakeholders including businesses, agencies and industries. Assist in the management, supervision and control of multiple projects related to MSME development. Ensure all internal and external enquiries are dealt in a timely, concise and accurate manner. Key Requirements: Minimum 3 years of work experience in multi-disciplinary roles in project management and sales preferred. Enthusiastic in learning new things and able to conduct own research. Creative and resourceful in providing innovative solutions and ideas on strategies and implementation. Strong analytical and interpersonal skills. Results-oriented, dynamic, self-driven and a team player. Good organizational, resource-management, and time-management skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
