Local businesses can register as a vendor in the DARe LINKS Portal where DARe will facilitate linkages between participating Clients and registered vendors based on Client requirements through the online platform. How do I register as a vendor? MSMEs can register as a vendor the DARe LINKS Portal at https://darelinks.dare.gov.bn/ . The following documentation is required for registration: For sole proprietors: Certificate of Registration (Section 16) and Business Name Extract (or Section 17) Copy of Identification of the business owner For limited liability company (Sdn Bhd): Certificate of Incorporation Particulars of Directors and Managers (Form X) Copy of Identification of Key Executives/Shareholders It is recommended that all documents are uploaded in PDF format in their respective fields. 4. What information will be collected from the companies during the programme? DARe will monitor vendors’ activities through: Milestones / KPI achieved Revenue from linkage Feedback on effectiveness of DARe’s assistance *KPIs can be tracked based on the following areas: employment, quantity of contracts, the size of contracts, change in turnover, etc. Large companies will be required to share: Contract value of successful linkages Satisfaction rating Programme feedback via survey 5. How can I access the DARe LINKS Portal? You can access the DARe LINKS Portal by registering as a vendor at darelinks.dare.gov.bn 6. I have registered through the portal, how long does it take for my account to be verified by DARe? Please allow a maximum of 3-5 working days for the application to be verified. 7. How will my information be used in the DARe LINKS Portal? Any information you shared through the DARe LINKS Portal will be kept confidential and used for DARe’s monitoring perusal only. Through the Portal, DARe LINKS Clients can: Access the supplier directory of verified vendors Create new opportunities to advertise any EOIs, tenders, requests for quotations and proposals Receive submissions from vendors through the Portal Select and award successful vendors through the Portal Provide feedback on vendors’ performance 2. What is expected from DARe LINKS Clients after joining the programme? DARe LINKS can… Help you fulfill any in-country value (ICV) or Local Business Directives (LBD) requirements Provide access to verified businesses in the DARe LINKS Portal Support your business by socializing your opportunity through the portal, social media and our emailing list. Facilitate and host vendor briefings to further socialize your upcoming opportunities to the targeted vendors. Facilitate the process of linkages by filtering and recommending verified vendors according to the Client’s criteria for the opportunity offered but the final assessments and vendor selection will be made by Client. Offer promotional opportunities for your business when applicable, such as through participations in local events, i.e. Brunei MSME Festival. 4. How do I register as a DARe LINKS Clients? Clients can register as an Operator/Buyer through the DARe LINKS Portal and the team will follow up with the focal person on how we can support with the linkages. The following documentation will be required: Certificate of Incorporation Particulars of Directors and Managers (Form X) High Resolution Logo of your company It is recommended that all documents are uploaded in PDF format in their respective fields. 5. What information will be collected from the companies during the programme? A B2B platform where DARe facilitates business linkages between local Clients with interested locally registered businesses including MSMEs (Vendors) by providing support to perform effectively on contracts. Objective of DARe LINKS To provide a platform to increase in-country value by encouraging greater participation of MSMEs in local supply chain To encourage adoption of proper procurement practice for MSMEs To support the development of MSME capabilities by linking to other DARe programs / initiatives DARe LINKS Portal: A Directory of Opportunities The DARe LINKS Portal is where the linkage activities will happen. MSMEs can register as a vendor to have access to a directory of opportunities offered by Large Companies, including projects, tenders and procurement requests. Through the portal, vendors can: Participate in any business opportunity advertised through the Portal, provided that they fulfill Client requirements. Report award details Provide feedback Have access to early bird registration for courses provided by DARe (IBA). The Client may do the following: Post advertisements Receive vendor submissions Shortlist, reject and award vendors Report award details Provide feedback Who is eligible? Criteria for Vendors: Locally registered company under ROCBN Minimum 1 year of business operations Demonstrate the potential to deliver on the work contract Criteria for Client: Applicable to organisations incorporated under Registry of Companies and Business Names (ROCBN)including Foreign Direct Investments (FDI), Government Linked Companies (GLC) and Multi-National Corporations (MNC) Applicable to Statutory Bodies Applicable to Medium to Large Enterprises with resources to offer business opportunities Not limited to any industry What is the duration? DARe LINKS will be an ongoing programme whereby MSMEs can register as a vendor through the DARe LINKS Portal at any time. Is there a fee to participate in DARe LINKS? No, currently registration and participation in the programme is free of charge. How many companies are eligible for the programme? ANNOUNCEMENT In light of local COVID-19 cases announced by the Ministry of Health (MOH) on Saturday, 7th August 2021, Darussalam Enterprise (DARe) will be putting in place the following precautionary measures with immediate effect: Business Helpdesks located in Bandar Seri Begawan, Kuala Belait and Temburong will be closed for any in-person service until further notice. Kontena Park will be open according to MOH guidelines . Opening times will be from Monday to Sunday 8am to 8pm for takeaways and delivery only (Do check our individual vendors Instagram for any changes in timing). All physical events including training workshops and stakeholders’ engagements will be postponed until further notice. For those who have signed up for any of DARe events, do check your email for any further updates. Businesses can still learn via DARe’s IBA online. Applications are invited for the following position: Transformation Manager, Delivery Support, Industrial Site Management – 1 position Role holder will be responsible to drive digital transformation and will lead the delivery support function within Industrial Site Management department. He/She will work closely with the functional Team Leads to identify the priorities and plan the implementation to deliver departmental goals. Roles and Responsibilities: Collaborate with internal and external parties to develop, enhance and seek approval for the digital transformation strategy and roadmap. Work with functional Team Leads to identify business requirements, build business case, recommend “off the shelf” or bespoke solutions, develop policies for data governance, change management and solution delivery. Develop and recommend strategies and budget to source for cost effective services, solutions and/or systems identified in the roadmap.
