Business must be registered with ROCBN.
 

Any private businesses with any form of government shareholding are ineligible.
 

Companies with 50% or more local ownership are eligible.
 

Entity should have been operational for a minimum of 3 years
 

Financial statements must be available for at least 3 years:

a) Management Accounts for:

i)  Sole Proprietorship
ii) Partnership
iii) Private Limited Company (Sdn Bhd) with revenue below BND 1 Million

b) Audited Financial Statement for:

i)  Private Limited Company (Sdn Bhd) with revenue below BND 1 Million (if available)
ii) Private Limited Company (Sdn Bhd) with revenue above BND 1 Million
 

Business entities are required to meet Local Value Content criteria: 

a) For product manufacturers meet at least one of the following conditions:

i)  Locally designed/formulated product
ii) Use of locally sourced materials or purchased from local suppliers
iii) Locally produced 

b) For service providers meet at least one of the following conditions:

i) Locally developed/ designed services 
ii)Use of locally sourced materials or procured from local suppliers 

c) For applicants under downstream cluster category must meet employment ratio requirement as part of Brunei’s Local Business Development (LBD) content

Applicant should be within the age range of 18  to 35 years
 

Applicant must hold the status of either Bruneian Citizen or Permanent Resident
 

Applicant must be a registered entrepreneur with ROCBN and actively involved in their business operation for a minimum of the past 3 years, fulfilling one of the following roles:

a) Entrepreneurs who founded and established their own business
b) Shareholder with a significant majority ownership stake
 

Applicant must demonstrate exceptional success through leadership and achieved significant business milestones

Applicant should be a female entrepreneur
 

Applicant must hold the status of either Bruneian Citizen or Permanent Resident
 

Applicant must be a registered entrepreneur with ROCBN and actively involved in their business operation for a minimum of the past 3 years, fulfilling one of the following roles:
a) Entrepreneurs who founded and established their own business
b) Shareholder with a significant majority ownership stake
 

Applicant must demonstrate exceptional success through leadership and achieved significant business milestones
