Course Description
A brand doesn’t materialize overnight, it is built over a long period of time on the foundation of company values. This workshop focuses on the basics of building a strong understanding of how brand direction can drive successful marketing strategies.
Learning Outcomes;
Participants will receive instructions on setting brand direction using marketing strategies. This course will explore three marketing processes: positioning, marketing mix, and SWOT analysis. This training course will introduce individuals to tools that will allow for effective communication and negotiation with their audience, management, stakeholders, and customers.
Session 1 & 2 (AM only)
SWOT analysis: This in-class session will be held on day 1, session 1 of Brand Building Basics. You will learn how to facilitate a SWOT (Strength, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats) test and create actionable from your analysis.
7Ps Marketing Mix: This in-class session will be held on day 1, session 2 of Brand Building Basics. We will explore the different elements of service marketing that companies can apply to communicate their organizational and brand message to customers.
It will cover the importance of Product, Pricing, Place, Promotion, People, Process, and Physical Evidence. Exercises on how to apply the theory of marketing mix to actionable will also be facilitated through the session.
