Participate in the upcoming ASEAN-Korea Startup Week 2023

What is the ASEAN-Korea Startup Week?

It aims to provide a platform for ASEAN startups to share innovative ideas, meet potential business partners, and engage in capacity building.

When and where is it happening?

When: 

1. Acceleration program (online): 11-15 September 2023

2. Business Meetings (online): 18-22 September 2023

3. Pitching Contest and Award Ceremony (offline): 19-20 October 2023

 

Where:

• Online and offline at the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI), South Korea

What are the following activities that will happen during the ASEAN-Korea Startup Week?

1. Acceleration program (online): 11-15 September 2023 - AKC will invite ASEAN Startups online to pair participating startups with relevant Korean/global VCs and ACs to provide guidance and insight on areas such as business model, investor relations (IR) material, pitch delivery, etc.

2. Business Meetings (online): 18-22 September 2023 - ASEAN startups will be requested to register and upload company information on the ASEAN-Korea Startup Week website, to schedule meetings with Korean/global VCs and ACs.

3. Pitching Contest and Award Ceremony (offline): 19-20 October 2023 - Total 30 startups will be presenting their business models and products/services to a panel of judges, followed by a Q&A session.

Who can join?

1. All sectors welcome 

2. Startups have received at least one official funding 

3. Business operation for more than one year, making a profit. 

4. Minimum viable product (MVP); ideally, this product is new or brings existing technologies to the market in new ways 

5. Must have fluent English skills 

 

Please be informed that the AKC will sponsor the airfare and accommodation of 1 (one) representative of each participating startup.
